Landing the perfect Savannah IT job

Naturally you want your Savannah IT job interview to go smoothly, but it's been six months since you've had a job, and you've been to over twenty interviews. What gives?  There are many questions that recruiters hiring for Savannah IT jobs ask within your interview.  By now you are aware that outside recruiters are the gatekeepers for some of the most highly coveted Savannah IT jobs on the market, so how do you help them to see you for what you are worth?  After all, you can't reach the hiring manager unless the outside recruiter approves you first, and she won't do that, unless she likes you.

Think about the last time you met someone new.  Did you like them instantly?  Were you a little wary, perhaps aloof?  Sometimes we do not immediately develop rapport when we meet new people, and so they don't particularly care for us, and vice versa.  Rapport plays a key role in convincing that Savannah IT job recruiter to pass your resume on to the hiring manager, so how to learn to build rapport with employers quickly would be important to know, wouldn't it?

How building rapport can get you that IT job

Rapport can be built naturally, as it often is, between two people who are introduced as friends, or as coworkers. However, nervousness is apparent during interviews.  It is okay to let the recruiter know that you are a tiny bit nervous because you are really interested in the IT job in Savannah and don't want to say something goofy. Chances are she will regale you with a tale about one of her interview experiences and how it all turned out okay. If you get her talking about her own personal experience, you are building rapport.

Remind the recruiter that you are not a professional interviewer, and that although you are qualified for the position, she might be considerate enough to give you some pointers.  First, this is telling the recruiter that you are qualified, and second, that you see her as an authority in her own field.  Since you stated that you are not a professional interviewer, which is a fact, she will naturally assume that the part about you being qualified for the position is true as well.  Squeeze them into the same sentence for maximum affect. 

Mimic her posture and the speed of her voice.  A great way to build rapport is to covertly act like the person who is interviewing you.  If she changes positions, wait twenty seconds and do the same.  If she is breathing more slowly than you, slow down your breathing.

Remember that he most important thing is to take a deep breath and know whole heartedly that you can ace this interview.  If not, practice more and don't worry because that perfect job will come along soon enough.
